Better prospect?? Nick Ebert vs. Zac Leslie

WHO IS THE BETTER PROSPECT?? I posted this question on the Guelph Storm board but got no response.

The stats for these two are nearly identical and they are also similar in size and age.

Anybody see these guys play??

I have seen more of Ebert than Leslie whom I like but thinks is far enough away to where anything can happen. Ebert for me.

There were rumors regarding Eberts character but they turned out to be completely false. Then someone said that he had lower back problems (not certain but I think it was one of his coaches during his development) that we largely exaggerated too.

Those were the rumors going around about him but every single prospect always has some sort of bologna being thrown around prior to a kids draft. Smart teams hire people to look into every one they are interested in to find out the character of these kids before they select them.

Some times the talent of a prospect is simply too high to care about who they are as young people but then in my opinion thy are the ones who seem to more often then not become the big name busts.

Ebert is that boom or bust kind of guy, he has too continue to work hard on his game.

Ebert's defensive game needed a lot of work, the kid knows this. He is trying to clean up that part of his game.

I would give the edge too Ebert, he has very good Offensive Hockey IQ, and instincts.

I have seen Ebert play with the Ontario Reign and he does seem like he has good skills. Dont know much about Leslie.

To the OP, it really depends on what you deem as 'better'. If you say skill, go with Ebert, if you say likelihood of reaching his fullest potential you go Leslie.

Leslie looks a lot like Hickey to me.
