Zoos are a scam. Why, in this day and age, would you pay to go to a zoo when you can look at pictures and videos of animals on the internet for free. Plus they treat animals like SHIT. I can't imagine what type of person would want to go to a place like that.

I'll be a west-coast homer, and pick the San Diego Zoo for my top zoo. Sure, the place is hilly beyond belief, but the zoo gets the reputation it truly deserves.

Edit: If I were a sarcastic internet critic, I'd say the student section at Arizona Wildcat games. (Not to be confused with the Arizona Coyotes, which is a dumpster fire, nor my house, which is a giant pigsty.)

I have a membership with the Columbia Zoo in South Carolina, it’s very nice, the NC Zoo in Ashboro is way too big (especially with a toddler to enjoy).

Riverbanks has the right mix of size and exhibits.

I’m ok with zoos as part of a conservation for animals, but things like the Orca exhibits disturb me.

Dude they food they have outside some of the weed shops is not fair. I can't even count how many of those cone fries with nacho cheese I ate. I also watched some lady fall backwards in the Bulldog bar on the steps and she might have died. She wasn't moving and there was blood everywhere when I bailed.

All quite true. I visit the NC Zoo often but it’s not the greatest place to visit because of the size. Riverbanks is more fun. The upside to NC Zoo is that they’re great for animal comfort.

@Unsustainable, they’ve added a bunch of good play options for kids recently at Asheboro. It’s worth checking out again with the kiddo if you haven’t been there in a while.

lmao, the weed here in denver is 1000x better, if that's your thing. It's capped @ 30% THC by law over there. It was definitely great in the early 00's going with my dad before all this dab and oil stuff and just smoking hash. The Tweede Kamer was my favorite shop with the dutch moonshine.

And vlaamsfriets for the win. They probably laughed at you for getting nacho cheese on em though, lmao. Best stoner food ever.

I don't really get REDACTED anymore, but still really enjoy the city. Definitely my favorite place on earth. Last September was my 9th visit.
