Agree with RedStorm about game 6, too. The memory of both brings tears to my eyes. But, whether you consider game six a "good thing" or not, what makes me really sad is that nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing good has happened since in terms of results on-ice. We were do damn ready for... more of that. And instead...
I don't know worst. I recall 8-1 or 7-1 games against LA, Colorado and Boston in the early years. I remember a game I think against Chicago where it looked like we'd get the win and crazy typical Jackets stuff happened late - maybe they scored twice in the last minute or something like that? And of course I was seated near a typically obnoxious Hawks fan.
Then there was the year before the playoffs where the team made a huge late-season push, won their final home game then they showed (Colorado?) on the jumbotron, and the result wasn't what we needed to get in. That was an interesting sequence, even if it doesn't fit the parameters of the discussion.
