I voted Vlasic, simply because I think he's closest to being among the top of his position. Relative to his peers, I think Vlasic is the best, and it's not like anyone is clearly the best anyways.

Vlasic is more important to the team because the rest of our defense is awful. I'd argue Braun is more important to the team than any of our forwards.

This is exactly how I feel. I think Marleau is currently the best forward and Vlasic is obviously the best D-man. Thornton was the best for a long stretch, but not this year or now.
