Ok I changed the OP to jerseys made that had a home and away version. Whether we wore it out not it was still made and sold and had the checkers to match up with the navy blue one. So all fixed up, although now I am wondering….

Yes it was never worn as we established above. But it was put out because I own one lol. Anyways I fixed main post to better suit the thread. I stand corrected on the white jersey even been worn.

Yes it was legit but only released for us fans to buy. As you and others mentioned it was never worn in an NHL game. I was mistaken and thought it was.
I have every single jersey from day one so it’s part of my collection but yeah not a one off one. Kind of weird they made an away version for it but never used it… they never did that for any of the other special edition jerseys.

The navy alt was never a main jersey. The team wore it a total of 24 games across two seasons. About the same number of games per season as the mustards during their five season run.

What isn't legit is the ProPlayer in option 1. Bauer, CCM/Koho, Reebok, Adidas, Fanatics.

My favorite was the blue with laces but I think the gold is great and that's my choice. It establishes a presence/identity and it looks great in the crowd at the arena. I was 100% against it when it came out but unlike when the mustards were adopted, cameras do not turn the color baby poop green on TV (thanks HDTV! Or maybe just the lack of a blue underlay that seriously messed with the cameras.)

I think it's kind of funny that so many other teams' fans were absolutely against the color and yet their teams strangely adopted it themselves for thirds and such and they wore them. People just don't want to like anything about us. That's fine, I've long ago stopped caring about that.

My understanding with that white jersey has always been that they were an extremely limited run so if you have one consider yourself very lucky!

I regret never buying those 2010/11 alternates or whatever they were. Both the white and the navy versions.

Never was a fan of the mustard era.

I'm not trying to piss on anybody's parade, but this thread is depressing, and it has nothing to do with the content. It's about the only thing interesting about the season outside of the creative ways to cope with the seasons so far.

The damn Titans and Preds have really put my local fandom into a bleak spot.
