For Columbus we chose Geoff Sanderson.

Not really all that interesting and yet another article taking some not-so-subtle jabs at the history of this franchise. We get it, we sucked for a long time. Thanks for the reminder. Can this please be merged into another thread?

Here is the tl;dr version:

"This team has never been that good, and they don't have anyone I deem worthy of the HOF, so I guess I'll pick Sanderson. He was pretty decent, and played for Columbus."

Love it. You set up a selection criteria nearing impossible for a 14 year old franchise to meet and when to no ones surprise they can't produce a viable candidate you resort to insults and gabs.

Espen Knutsen would have been a more interesting choice.

I thought you were making that first sentence up so I clicked the link. We've gotten so much better, I told myself as the page loaded. Even Canada respects us now. Wow. Talk about watching someone climbing a mountain and waiting until they get about 3/4 of the way up and then shooting them with a really big gun and laughing while they fall. And then finding their body and stringing it up and doing a puppet show with it.


Screw them and their little dog too.
