IMO, you can't go wrong ranking the big 5 in any order. However, I am curious about what HFSharks thinks. I personally still choose Marleau.

If we are talking about their skill level this year, not career. Thornton is the top, Pavelski and Marlearu are tied for 2nd, then Burns and Couture are tied for 4th. Couture is having a bit of an off year, and Burns was injured for a while, which sets them back a bit.

Still, its amazing that we can have this discussion at all. There is so much talent on this team, that we haven't won a Cup, much less made it to the finals, is kinda sad.

Thornton AINEC, but I think Pavelski is 2nd best on this team since he seems to make everyone else around him that much better. I don't get that as much from Marleau, although Marleau's strength and speed does open up space for others. Burns is a great power forward, but I don't think he overshadows Thornton or Pavs, and Couture is great but still has a lot of room to grow.

Mmmm...I dunno if Thornton's got enough goals for me to call him the best forward on this team. Goals GOAL GOALSSSS
