Best Final Fantasy Themes

After playing a lot of FFXV lately and listening to all of the music that's available in that game, I wonder what everyone thinks the best themes in the game are.

It'll be broken down into categories, include honourable mentions if you like or extra categories.

Best Title Theme:

Even though just is just a different take on the reused theme, it's my personal favourite.

Best Overworld Theme:

This one is not even close, so no debate.

Best Town Theme:

Best Battle Theme:

Not even close for me. Too epic.

Battle: FFIV. This one was close between IV and IX. HM to X and XIII (one of the few good things about that game)

Best normal Boss theme



I did not care for most aspects of FF13, but the music was outstanding throughout. This is one of the highlights. While most FF boss themes are constantly high tempo, I like the shifts this one takes. Makes the epic parts feel bigger.

Honourable mention



Best special Boss theme



Amazing psych freakout stuff. Also FF7 is my favourite game ever but I don't really care for One Winged Angel.

Best dungeon theme



AINEC. Plays this when you're going through upper level dungeons in FF15.

Runner up



Yes more FF8. Plays this when you're going through lower level dungeons in FF15.

Best Overworld



This is the song I hear when I think of Final Fantasy. Really takes you on a journey. Worst part about Meteor being summoned is that this song vanishes from the game.
