Let's try something completely different!
Everyone can post here what they think that the team's best case scenario is for the season. We can try to keep this thread relatively positive. Myself included, a lot of gloom and doom is going on in other threads. Over here we can discuss what can go right for the team in between now and the trade deadline, and how we feel that sets up the team for the near future; counter to the we suck, trade everyone threads.
I will go first:
I think that going into the season the Rangers would have finished 3-5 in the conference. If everyone gets healthy I do think they can still finish as a bottom four seed although I am having a hard time seeing them making it out of the first round as presently constituted. If they make a win now move at the deadline I would make their 1st rounder untouchable but if they can get a good piece why not? Maybe rental Cammalieri makes sense and helps band-aid the top six if you can get him on the cheap. Hopefully the major UFAs are signed by no later than the all star break.
While I don't know if this is what I would call "good enough" it may or may not be a start.
