I live in the Hat, but have been a long time Telus Optik TV subscriber. I have never had an issue with having any disruptions watching a game on Telus Optik. In GDTs, ivecseen/read a lot of posters getting riled up over Shaw TV cutting out or having issues while Telus subscribers aren't having any problems at all.

As for packages, your best bet is to subscribe to the one sports package which has Sportsnet West, Sportsnet One and Sportsnet 360 (it'll include the other regional Sportsnet channels like Sportsnet East/Ontario/Pacific). SNWest carries the Oilers and Flames. This package will also include Sportsnet Oilers and you'll get all 82 games on one channel or another. There were times where the Flames were on SNW and the Oil were aired on SNOne or SN360.

That said, are you looking at streaming games moreso than a TV package? Same can be said for Telus internet...I rarely lose internet connection through their network. As for an internet package, I'm presuming Sportsnet Now might be your best bet, however, the cool thing with Optik TV, you can setup an "Optik on the Go" account and you can sign in on any computer and watch your subscribed channels through the Internet, including all the subscribed SN channels.

This is exactly what I have as well (same channels too) and I can echo your comments to the letter.

Telus Optik has been really good.
