Love it. Glad seeing Bernier in Toronto. Great Fan Base and great opportunity to shine for him. Hes finding his way. They grow up so fast :cry:.
 
One thing to note is that Clarkson CLEARLY left the bench to get involved in that. He's gone for 10 games.

I understand why Kessel slashed Scott; I mean the guy is like 6'9 240+ pounds. I would be crapping my pants if he went after me. I would have done the same in that high pressure situation.

As for Clarkson thats a bummer for the Leafs, he wont be playing for another 10 games.

Bernier kicked some butt today. The only down side on that is how I'm going to hear how great of a goalie Bernier is and how he is now one of the top 3 goalies in the East. It really pisses me off how when a player from the West gets traded to the East then they become "Overrated Super Stars" from all the media attention.
 
We got jobbed by the lockout. No lockout Bernier plays first half of last season while Quick is injured and we easily get a 1st for him. I'm a little bitter but deep down i'm happy for Berny, he's a Leaf but he's built like a King.
 
thought Bernier played a great all around game. That fight though man. That was just so good

BTW, John Scott was jumping Kessel, don't blame him for using the stick, it was instincts.

The first swing sure. I'd do it too. The 2nd chop when Scott is already tied up? Classless penalty. The third spear (pretty light love tap sure.) Kessel needs to miss a few games for that crap. :shakehead

Didn't JB try to challenge the opposing goalie to a fight once last season? Can't remember which game it was.

Crawford wanted no part of him, but he had no problem jumping Clifford when he's got 5 other guys around him.

Crawford is thinking that was a good life choice in retrospect. Could have changed the whole series of Bernier beat the snot out of him ;)

He's sitting on his couch right now going "thank god"
 
Felt a little bad for Miller, dunno why he accepted the fight. Bernier loves this stuff and Miller has concussion issues. Stupid move by Miller.
 
Good, Miller is a punk anyway. Haven't seen a good goalie fight like that in a long time.
 
Not a fan of Kessel's stickwork there. The first slash I'm OK with, because that dumb oaf Scott was going after him. The second slash I don't like, because Scott was engaged with other players. The spear was over the top
