Simoneau ended up getting Teasdale's stick to the face and not the puck.
He was taken to the hospital out of caution.
For them to get the stretcher, i fear it must have been the eye. It took quite a while to get him off the ice.

I haven't watched much of the Rocket this year, but it seems like Richard is creating something everytime.
I'd be really intrigued to see him called up.

I looked at the replay, and to be honest I fear for his eye area. Looks like the stick went under the visor

Oh yes… midget AAA, missed a season in Gatineau, had to stay in a dark room for most of the time.

According to a comment from a user on the RDS website, he had a scan, his nose is broken, but his eye is too swollen to be certain its fine, but apparently he was able to read a little.
The Laval season from hell continues.
Other than Richard no other vet is helping this young squad.

The interesting part is, Laval is 11th in goals for in the league. But are the team with the most goals against.
Offensively, they're scoring enough to be much higher in the standings. Defensively (not just the defensemen, but the whole team) is not up to par.
But you're right about the vets not contributing enough. The good news is that aside from Richard, it's prospects leading the charge offensively (Ylonen, Simoneau, RHP & Barron). The unfortunate part is that Barron and Simoneau are now out with injuries.
