I have a friend that is ready to move up to new skates.
He has a choice between Bauer Vapors X-15 Seniors or Mission Wicked Seniors.

Which one is a better skate?I found him the Missions for him for $99.99
and our local Dick's store is selling the Bauers for $89.00.

Which one is better?

Thanks

I saw a video review for the Vapor X05 skates by bauer which are a step under than the ones you are talking about and for a recreational skate for someone who will not play very often throughout the year they had a good review.

Maybe you can find a review that is actually for the X-15 but this was the best I could do. The review is for the 2009 model and supposedly sells for $70 and like i said I cannot find the ones you posted about.

You may be able to use it as some sort of gauge even though not the same skate. I think the major difference between the X-05 and the X-15 are the blade holders which the one piece all in one blade holder on the X-05 is a throwaway type as you cannot remove the blade once it used up, it is a one piece system and cheap. The X-15 has the lightspeed 2 holder which is better.

I know nothing about the Mission skates so i cannot comment.

Well the Missions are originally a 250-300 dollar skate, if I recall correctly. That Bauer is a very entry level skate. So the Missions are better quality, but of course what matters is what fits right.
