Anyone have any ideas to get this Warning sticker off the back of my Bauer ReAkt helmet? It doesn't just peel off like most stickers... and I started picking at it but it was leaving little scratches so I stopped so I don't scratch up the helmet a crap ton..

Which one? The big rectangular white one? Don't peel off the HECC or CSA stickers though.

honestly i found using my finger nail worked the best, tedious process. after you can take a paper towel or dish cloth with a bit of vinegar and rub off the glue.

stickers weigh you down and negatively affect your agility so i always take them off.

Put peanut butter on it for a day or two. The oils help counteract the glue and it easier to peel off. It won't be totally unsticky, but it peel/scratch off easier

Go to your local hardware store and get "Goo Gone" or a similar type of goo remover.

you can either A) soak the sticker in goo gone and scrape it off with a credit card or putty knife or B) peel the sticker off, soak the residue with goo gone and just wipe it with a rag.

It's worth having in the house for lots of other things too, it's amazing for sticker residue.

hair dryer or heat gun, but yeah don't take off the cert stickers, some leagues requires it.

Light heating with a hair dryer or heat gun, peel and goo gone for the residue. No need to get messy with peanut butter.

I took a sticker off my Mission Inhaler (Bauer's Roller hockey brand) and it also took awhile to remove. I just used a credit card and worked it slowly off, piece by piece. I then used hot water and a cloth to remove the remaining residue.

I also took a sticker off my Reebok 5K helmet, it came off super easily by comparison. I guess Mission/Bauer really don't want you to remove it, whereas Reebok/CCM don't care as much.

sticker

Thanks guys... credit card and goo gone did the trick... I've always wore Reebok before now and those came off wayyyyyy easier... Bauer 4500 looks sick though!

Nothing factual behind that.

Take a blow torch to it. Burn it off with fire.

Report results.

*note. I'm not recommending this approach. But i am encouraging it for my own amusement.
