Eh. I don't have a high opinion of the guy, but it is not like we haven't had movies and shows about other world leaders before. I'm interested, but I am weary of it deifying him too much. It'd be awesome to get a real look into his formative years.

Yeah, this is how I feel. I think he's been a lousy president, but you can't deny the social impact of him becoming the first African-American president. Its a story people want to know, just gloss over that healthcare bit haha...

It's not about his presidency, guys.
I know, I've read his book too. I just think it's weird to do this now. Maybe let him leave the spotlight a bit first.

If it isn't about his presidency and is the equivalent of a book he wrote, wouldn't it make the most sense to flaunt it while he HAS the spotlight?
