GDT: Game 42: Sat. Jan. 11th: Back-to-back part 2: Home vs Dallas, 7 PM | CITY, SNE, TVAS

kinda early for daily scenarios. the real season has just started. conference play is always topsy turvy because teams beat each other nightly and the scenerios change literally with every final that hits the scoreboard

as a NYI fan, the past 2 seasons has seen them limp into the playoffs with help from other teams down the stretch

best thing to do is not leave points on the table and win the games you're supposed to and steal points when you can

i like Montreal. good young players. i feel they need an upgrade at goalie to go with what they have. a seasoned vet with playoff experience who has been there

they also need Laine to play through his maladies perform like he can

My mindset is to just enjoy the day because you never know when they could bottom out.

If/when that happens, I'll stop, but I'm having fun with it for now.

fair enough. watching the islanders has taught me not to drive myself crazy because the ebbs and flows are plentiful.

Canadiens are headed in the right direction.

So lately we've beaten many of the hottest team in the league.....cause for now we're the hottest team in the league but Tonight, they face the 2nd hottest team in the NHL.

Going to be tough, especially on a back-to-back with travel in between.
If we can get a point out of this one, I would be satisfied....but hell, let's get those 2 points!!!!

Dallas is the hottest team in the league, 6 wins in a row!
Habs can't win more than 3 in a row...and they hit 3 last night so we already know they are losing tonight. :sarcasm:

Is that Cole as Bruno Mars? :slaugh:

Otter confirmed in net. Local prospect Mavrik Bourque is on a 2 games point streak. He has 9pts in 36gp so far.

No news of the line up?
No news, but Pezz skated this morning and that's usually the scratch who do on a b2b...but Laine is the only other player who skated this morning. So probably a game time decision.

Bruins won today in OT. They can't lose their playoff spot today.

Montreal can get back into WC2, but:

Montreal needs to win
Columbus & Pittsburgh can't get 2 pts. A loss in any manner is required.
