I felt Parssinen was decent when he was in the line up. I liked his game. Too bad Bednar hated him and sat him recently.
Good news to put a smile on your face: we're giving them the better of the 4ths, too!Of course it is.
Brutal trade.
I don't think it really signals anything. What a god awful trade. This is one of the trades you make if your team is a wagon and need a little bit more to put them over the top.
Think the worst part of this trade is it signals there isn't any other bigger trade coming for a #2C or an upgrade on the backend like Jones. I could be wrong, but I don't have much faith in something bigger happening if this is what CMac was working on.
This is not a good barometer to judge a player lol. Fans love to kick them on the way out.look at every rangers fan posts about lindgren and you’ll understand how bad he is
You're right. I took it from LeBrun and TSN, who both reported it as Kampf. He's not, it's actaully Hank Kempf
The last time we said this we ended up with Fourgiev. This is not a good barometer to judge a player lol. Fans love to kick them on the way out.
I think those cards just use random numbers. Like, how do you get 0% for Lindgrin at 5x5 when he as a 50% HDCF%?View attachment 984865
For everyone using the JFresh card to declare this a complete loss... Guess we'd be singing the same tune if it was Brock Faber we just traded for?
The Rangers are a horrible team and everyone on that team has been ass this year. Lets give the kid a single game first before we all collectively jump off a cliff.
Too late; I already went for itView attachment 984865

So what now?
Blow rest of the picks on another depth player or is this the big play.

But what if I wanna jump off a cliff everytime I get here? The Rangers are a horrible team and everyone on that team has been ass this year. Lets give the kid a single game first before we all collectively jump off a cliff.
Retaining 50% helps. To me this deal tells me a few things a far as the strategy :
- always thought they'd try to acquire a RD to push Manson down. With this move, I think thats changed. I could see the Avs moving Manson now with the addition of Lindgren.
- I think they'd probably want to keep Malinski now
So no, for me it doesn't end the chance of landing Jones, it would just mean that the Avs might have Lindgren-Malinski on the bottom pair instead of other trade + Manson.
I think a lot of people said and posted stuff like this right when Kakko was traded too.
He's been a lot better since he got to Seattle. A lot of those Rangers seemingly need a change of scenery. Kakko has 19pts in 27gp with the kraken.
That’s what pissed me off the most. Value aside, this is the big move
The thing is, can we even trust that guys fit our system anymore? Think about the amount of guys CMac has acquired, and Bednar has not used them or misused them. We used to think that if we get someone, he'll be a fit because our FO and pro-scouts know what they are doing. That hasn't been the case for some time now.Just remember the reactions to JMFJ when we got him, and how bad he looked for the Pens (Who are STILL paying him next year) and Jackets, while being a passable 3rd pairing D here. I’d expect him to look quite a bit better when away from the stench of this year’s awful Rangers team. The most important thing for the Avs and Bednar’s system is that he is still a good skater, miles ahead of CdH.
