3rd season and one of many chlers who get screwed over by the 2 year rights rule. Once you get to the 4th(3rd round really) teams heavily go for college/euros because they have control for 4 years vs 2 in chl.

Not a super offensive guy but Spokane didn't score much and didn't get any free points time really either. He's basically a poor mans Guhle and could be a 3rd pairing pk option down the line. With how many picks the Avs have lit on fire this is a great signing. Should've been the pick in the 5th instead of wasting it on a guy who can't skate
