What if he turns into Kaprizov?Man if he could turn into a Lehkonen type player for us we’d be in good shape

I know, I’m just kidding about Kovalenko turning into Kaprizov, but I’m still very excited to see him with the AvsHe doesn’t have the skill to be Kaprizov.
The best part of Kovy’s game is how on edge he plays. If Bednar is willing to live with penalties from Wood then he’ll deal with the few that Kovy takes.
"personal reasons" huh? Did he train with Nuke this summer?
Can't use that word, he doesn't have a wife yet to piss off with his pre-game routines
Nuke's excuse was "family reasons".
That's the problem, you kinda want them to suck so he gets over here quickly.Has a player ever won KHL and NHL championships in the same season?
Yeah we'll seeThis kid is going to be better than the 3rd liner most people predicted when the hype started building. He has great hockey IQ.
I think he might actually be an ELITE....3rd liner. Those are important aswell. Im not sure if hes a top 6 guy but I hope he plays at that level. This kid is going to be better than the 3rd liner most people predicted when the hype started building. He has great hockey IQ.
I don't think they disagree it is weaker. However I've seen them disagree that players can develop better in the KHL than the AHL and Junior league before they hit the NHL.Just how much weaker is the KHL nowadays? I've seen Russians disagree abit but I know Henchy has talked about how much the league has regressed. Between that and the Avs prospect history it's kinda got me less excited than I would have been given the reports about his game/highlights/stats etc. I feel like even if he becomes a legit 4th liner that's a huge win given the track record.
Kuzmenko had 37 points in 54 games as a 24 year old/53 points in 45 games as a 25 year old recently in the KHL. Would be a homerun if Kovalenko could even be 80% of what he was for Vancouver last year.
I saw Borna Rendulic in the top 5 in scoring.Just how much weaker is the KHL nowadays? I've seen Russians disagree abit but I know Henchy has talked about how much the league has regressed.
