I feel pretty hyped up about Kovalenko. Not too tall but looks like a tank. Good defense, decent to good passing, will go to dirty areas and will be able to chip in. If he somehow winds of on Avs top six it's a big plus for the Avs.

He’s not Kaprizov, that’s for sure, probably not even Kuzmenko, but he’s playing with even more confidence this year than his breakout year last season.

Love the effort and motor that he plays with and I think Bednar will too. Doesn’t get enough credit for his skill/sense either.

I mean...if he can keep up this pace he will surpass Kaprizov's best KHL PPG at roughly the same age. Time to let that hype train fly off the tracks
