It's a good target as a two-way player who's shown enough offense in Europe and whose development in Europe is done. With that, he could make the NHL, however with his size and pace I don't like his chances.

For me he's always been a sniper type of player. If not mistaken, he set a new SHL record goals scored in playoffs or something. 14 games 11 goals this postseason.

Well no idea who this or if he can ever make it to the NHL level.

But get used to this, going to be a lot of, what, who's that, head scratcher, signings this off-season we don't have any money and have to fill slots. Maybe not this off the wall, but most likely plenty of meh signings are headed our way.

I expect the plan is for him to play in the AHL. If he shines there and we have injuries, maybe he gets a call-up.
His goal I am sure is NHL. You don't really come over just for AHL.

Has this guy been on the Avs radar for some reason?

I know the cap is going up this year but I still believe there will be actual NHL players who bet too heavily on themselves and end up having to take a smaller contract or a one-year deal to better sort their market out. I'd rather keep a contract space for that type of stuff than this.

[edit..of course it's been a month of Sundays since I last looked at our contract situation. We're sitting at 27/50, but capfriendly doesn't have this one up yet, so consider it 28/50, with our NHL roster at 12/23.]

Val’s replacement?
Nahh, he is not a power forward, two way player like Nukie is. We will never ever get another player like Nuke.

Jere Inalla is a sniper. He reminds of the the American sniper from Saving Private Ryan that shot and killed the German sniper during WW2. Shot him wright in the eye. He is not that tall but he is a shoot first kind of a player and could be player that would help us in playoffs. Now we just need to determine on which line he will play on.

Maybe our Robertson.
