I'd like this move the best. Amadio knows his role on the team. Amadio is probably more effective on the 4th than Zetterlund is.Well the logical move could be Zetterland RW on the 1st line, Giroux to the 3rd and Amadio to the 4th.

The issue is that 3rd line of Greig Pinto Amadio has been doing really well, Amadio in particular, is a point per game since Zetterberg was acquired. and 8 pts in his last 9 games. What kind of msg does it send to bump him down?Well the logical move could be Zetterland RW on the 1st line, Giroux to the 3rd and Amadio to the 4th.
Ullmark 1st off the ice this am
No Jensen at practice
i guess the injury is slowly transitioning out of his bodySo Jensen's mid/Lower body injury has migrated to exclusive LBI
I don't see an exit strategy through the foot....i guess the injury is slowly transitioning out of his body
Yeah works better through the chest:I don't see an exit strategy through the foot....
Well it's a much softer message than trading Norris. The issue is that 3rd line of Greig Pinto Amadio has been doing really well, Amadio in particular, is a point per game since Zetterberg was acquired. and 8 pts in his last 9 games. What kind of msg does it send to bump him down?

Kidney stone working its way out?So Jensen's mid/Lower body injury has migrated to exclusive LBI
So are you of the opinion Green should be fired because he doesn't know what he is doing with Zetterlund? Does Green not know what he is doing? Is it his job to appease fans & do what they think should be done? I hope you are right that he is a point producer & I assume someone will eventually get hurt & they can move him up in the lineup & we can really see what he is capable of. It's never right to blame the other players for one player not being better. Good players make chances for themselves, good players make others around them better & good players find a way to show their talent level, we're still waiting.I guarantee you you'd say the same thing about Cozens if he came here and was stuck on the 4th line barely playing 10 minutes a night.
Zetterlund is a point producer, and he can't do his thing playing with two scrubs and very limited PP time. He's being wasted with the way Green is deploying him.
It's crazy that you think he should have shown more in his current role.
I'd argue it sends a much stupider message.Well it's a much softer message than trading Norris.
Amadio is a professional and as a cup winner, he'll understand. He's working his arse off in his role and getting some scoring, but even he'll recognize that it's a heater. Coaches can't just ride heaters and Amadio will still get his ice time in especially if Green stop playing Highmore so much on the PK. Ideally Giroux gets a minute or two shaved off his ice time as well and that can go to Amadio too.The issue is that 3rd line of Greig Pinto Amadio has been doing really well, Amadio in particular, is a point per game since Zetterberg was acquired. and 8 pts in his last 9 games. What's this about. Its pretty clear Staios made a deal to make the team better and it did.Well it's a much softer message than trading Norris.

Its not about Amadio understanding its about putting the lineup out that you think gives you the best chance at winning.Amadio is a professional and as a cup winner, he'll understand. I agree with you. If Amadio gets put on the 4th line, I hope the "msg" the team gets is "management thinks its the best chance to win".Its not about Amadio understanding its about putting the lineup out that you think gives you the best chance at winning.
That's it that's all. Its simple Z has to wait his turn. Those saying he should spell T7 either for a game or for parts of a game I think makes sense if T7's play drop remains what it was vs Mtl. Any winger gets banged up Z can move up.. right now he has to earn it.. Green has established a good feel has seen him in games, practices on the pp (taking Pinto out) and if he thinks he's better than someone playing above him he'll make the change. I would prefer Pinto was back in on PP2 personally. Whiny emo, think they know better, find anything to whine about like little girls fans won't change that
Sens trainers need to focus more on hydrationKidney stone working its way out?
I hear what you are saying but aren't all coaches like that? To do what you are suggesting with disrupt all the lines. So we move Tkachuk to the second line even though he leads the team in goals, move Perron to the third line even though that line has really started to jell & move Amadio done to the 4th line even though he has scored the most goals for this team in the last number of games. Do you see this as a bit demoralizing for those who have been playing well to be demoted.I've generally come around on Green like most on here given the major improvement on team defense which is likely the top reason we find ourselves in a WC spot today, but this doesn't mean he doesn't have his glaring blind spots, one of them being his hardcore reluctance to make changes on the fly or scratch players who are struggling.
He's not a proactive coach at all, he sticks to what he knows and it takes multiple losses before he does react, and in Zetterlund's case, this is one of those times where he should be making changes before we go on another losing streak. Top line isn't gelling all that much this last week so why not try him there tonight and give an obviously ailing Tkachuk a bit of an easier time on the 2nd? Guys like Perron don't need top-6 minutes to be effective so move him down the lineup along with someone else and stop wasting an offensive threat with scrubs like Highmore and Gaudette.
No one needs to wait and see for Fabian to prove himself, he's already done so in SJ and this is why Staios went and got him.
If there is a compelling reason to change it up I'm sure it will happen. Things can go stale, the effectiveness drops, they need a spark etc.I agree with you. If Amadio gets put on the 4th line, I hope the "msg" the team gets is "management thinks its the best chance to win".
We already have questionable messages being sent to the roster from the past like when Hamonic has played above a healthy JBD and Matinpalo, so I wouldn't be too concerned with Amadio or anyone being concerned with what "msg" is sent to the team if lines are shuffled.
Holy shit that hella badColorado is another one of those teams that the Senators pretty much never beat.
2-9-0 in their last 11 against them while allowing an average of 5.18GAA.
