Matthews and Alfredsson.
Alfredsson actually has more top ten point finishes than Marner.
Forsberg > Matthews
Alfredsson > Marner
The gap between the first two larger so I voted Forsberg + Marner.
Matthews and Alfredsson.
Alfredsson actually has more top ten point finishes than Marner.
To be fair Alfredsson is also retired and Marner is what, 25?Matthews and Alfredsson.
Alfredsson actually has more top ten point finishes than Marner.
I voted Matthews + Alfie, all 4 are great players but I feel like these two would be a more balanced addition to a lineup than two strong playmakers.
Nahhh Marner ain't no favorite of mine and he won't score on forsberg set up's. I think Mathews Alfie is the more effective duo.
Forsberg>Matthews
Alfredsson>Marner
Matthews and Alfredsson would mesh far better together as Alfredsson was always able to take on the role his linemates needed (scorer, playmaker, mucker etc).
Marner and Forsberg is a bad pairing because both players are pass-first.
Alfredsson is the odd man out here as the worst player of the bunch, but Matthews + Alfredsson is better balanced.
Foppa won the Hart with Tanguay on his line.
Thx for coming.
Okay... but what makes you think you cant plug a great goalscorer next to Marner/Foppa?Yes, 26 goal, 67 point Tanguay and, more significantly 50 goal, 98 point Rocket Richard trophy winner Hejduk.
Forsberg meshed really well with a great scorer like Hejduk.
Matthews won his Hart with a great playmaker in Marner and a hard worker in Bunting. Alfredsson combines both those skills with 5 seasons of over 50 assists and extremely high work rate/defensive acumen.
Swing and a miss.
