ATD Summer Fun - All Time Sports Movies Draft

[Hawkey Town 18]

Here's the idea:
A 6 round draft in which GMs draft the best all time sports movies, looking for 4-8 GMs to participate.

Preliminary Rules
- Draft 1 (and only 1) movie from each of the following categories: Hockey, Baseball, Boxing, Basketball, American Football, and then 3 movies from the "Other" category
- Other is defined as a movie featuring any sport outside the 5 categories (there's some leeway here, competitive games like chess, etc. are ok).
- A GM cannot pick the same sport twice in the "Other" category.
- You can draft your categories in any order.
- The sport must be a main feature of the movie's plot (e.g. Top Gun is not a volleyball movie).
- No documentaries
- No TV shows
- 18 hour clock
- No mentioning undrafted movies
- PM the next GM after you pick
- Announce your category when picking
- No trading

This will be very casual. We'll probably do one regular season type vote at the end just for fun, but movies are subjective, so no point in making arguments, it's about the exercise and strategizing to get as many of your favorites as you can and not getting stuck with any you don't like.

I have Unforgiven on a higher tier myself. It's been a long time since I've seen Mystic River though. From memory I'd call it very good, while Unforgiven is great.

"Excellence" in film is quite subjective.

Eastwood has directed several movies that I consider to be great (even if, personally, I don't put Mystic River in that category)- Unforgiven, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Heartbreak Ridge, Flags of Our Fathers, Letters from Iwo Jima, Gran Torino, American Sniper, etc, and several more that were fun/entertaining.
