Lineups are both greats, but I give the edge to my Tigers

The A's might have a slightly better starting staff, but the bullpens are the biggest gap imo. Hanshin has more arms, and multiple guys with closing experience.

Game 1: Clemens throws 9 strikeouts and Ruth hits a dinger. Hanshin wins.
Game 2: Pedro throws some nasty stuff and Bonds jacks one. The A's tie it up.
Game 3: Bob Gibson is one of the most clutch playoff pitchers of all time and FoXX mashes one with XX power. Hanshin wins to take the lead.
Game 4: Lefty Kershaw leaves all his strength on the mound and Pujols smashes one 21st century style. The A's tie it up.
Game 5. Clemens is looking mean and nasty Texas style and A-Rod homers. Hanshin takes the lead.
Game 6: Pedro pretends he's in Fenway and Vlad hits a homer for Vlad, Jr. The A's tie it up.
Game 7: Gibson and Ryan start. The game is tied 0-0 in the bottom of the 9th, Cobb and Trout each hit a double to score a run, and the game is over.

Hanshin wins 4-3 in 7 games obviously.

Congrats to both teams for an amazing series!

Wow! I never expected to actually win one of these!

Thanks so much to all of you for taking part in it! This has become an event that I look forward to every year. Honestly, the biggest reason I've come on to HF the past 7 years is to play this with you guys. Thank you Wrigs and Dr Pepper for continuing the legacy of the ATD.

Good series sarge! You had a hell of a ball club.
