Im not sure it was better on paper. The current group is much deeper at forwards. Defence is closer, but I think 06 might be a little better. Finland is always playing very well and better than the sum of it parts. Need Saros to find back to the play he had a couple of years ago.

06 had a significantly better defense and peak Kipper wasn't even in goal.

The current D core is pretty bad at the best on best level.
