None of the CBJ radio affiliates up here picked up the ASG radio broadcast. Is there a stream anywhere for the radio broadcast?

It'd be nice if the Black jerseys had legible numbers and names on them. Ugly AND useless.

I hope we can afford to keep Joey in 4 years, he's reaching stardom levels in the NHL with his weekend. 77mph snap shot, wow

Not going to happen. Jarmo and JD really **** it up badly with his contract structure. He'll go to arbitration year 4. His year 3 salary is $6 million so it's not inconceivable that he'll be making close to $9 million in year 4.

He certainly won't be giving a "home town discount" to the CBJ. Or one wouldn't think that he would nor would the team deserve one.

His shot is something else. He's got legit 35-40 foot scoring range.

Wow.

We complain when prospects don't live up to their expectations and we now complain that someone might be too good.

If he earns it, he will get paid. If he earns it, I have no problem with him getting paid.

If you think that the FO handled the Johansen negotiation well, then more power to you.

I'm not complaining that he's too good. What I am stating without any reservation, is that it was OBVIOUS that he was this good and should have been signed to a long term deal.

He should have been "paid"-like all top players coming out of their ELCs-with a 6 year deal. Now he'll be a UFA at the end of 4 years and he'd be a fool not to take full advantage of it. The CBJ may not be able to afford him. We'll see.

The bridge contract is serving its purpose. To prove he deserves the money. You have to remember his agent was asking superstar money after 1 good season. If he continues to deserve it, he will get paid and remain in Columbus.
