The alleged assault occurred in December 2023 during a Rangers road trip, according to two Rangers sources briefed about the allegation. Panarin and the woman, who was a regular part of the team’s travelling party, were at a post-game gathering at a hotel with about a dozen other players and staff members. Panarin allegedly took her phone and said he would only give it back if she retrieved it from his hotel room, the sources said. When she went to his hotel room to retrieve her device, Panarin pinned her down on the bed. She pushed him off, retrieved her phone and left the room.

Yeah f*** off with that "she should have I WOULD HAVE" bullshit. You have no idea what kind of power structure atmosphere there might be behind this. And whatever, a person should be safe to retrieve his/her belongings from person working in the same company without getting assaulted. Or what does it say about Panarin, hockey culture or our society if she should be scared on shit like that happening and not go or get someone with her?

God damn victim blamers. It's people like you who keep culture like this alive.

At that time, the majority of people in Russia were defending Panarin against those allegations, which were made by one man.

Yes, this news puts that stuff into new light as well. But at that time, the Rangers defended Panarin based on the fact that the majority of people around the team at the time denied the incident.
I see, I thought this was all part of that same allegation.

It's not f***ing questionable

WHY is it that some people's first reactions are "WELL ACTUALLY!!!!!"

I hope none of you have daughters or wives with that attitude.

I would tell my sons or daughters if you going into an uncomfortable situation best to bring somebody along. What is wrong saying that, I would think that is good advice

Hi everybody. If everything is true here, it's not the victim's fault and Panarin is a POS.

... You can also point out some not so smart things that were done by the victim and use them as a learning experience for you and/or the people you love. And it doesn't make you a POS.
