Let's celebrate his career
My most memorable moment from his career was his preseason game (I think against Boston?) where he made a sick move and scored a sexy goal and Joe said something along the lines of, "Well, someone just made the team."
My dad loved him. Sniper celebration is a classic.
I mean I’m 28. I loved him too. This makes me feel old AF.

I always thought he'd have 2ed line potential. He was a very good player especially at where he was drafted. Anisimov scored 37 goals 81 points in his 2ed year in the AHL. I'm still shocked Anisimov never cracked 25-30 goals and 50-60 points at the NHL level, while Brandon Dubinsky scored 21 goals and 43 points in his only year in the AHL and yet Dubinsky scored more than 20 goals and 50 points twice in the NHLI remember when they interviewed him for off-ice content and he was going on about his love of Stargate SG1, lol. Seemed like a nice and likely nerdy guy during his playing career.
Me too. It seems like yesterday he was a rookie. He was part of our young core. Even though he never turned into a Panarin-type player he was part of the Nash trade that eventually got us to the finals. I'll always look fondly on Anisimov's time in New York. This makes me feel old AF.
