Let's celebrate his career

I remember when they interviewed him for off-ice content and he was going on about his love of Stargate SG1, lol. Seemed like a nice and likely nerdy guy during his playing career.

I always thought he'd have 2ed line potential. He was a very good player especially at where he was drafted. Anisimov scored 37 goals 81 points in his 2ed year in the AHL. I'm still shocked Anisimov never cracked 25-30 goals and 50-60 points at the NHL level, while Brandon Dubinsky scored 21 goals and 43 points in his only year in the AHL and yet Dubinsky scored more than 20 goals and 50 points twice in the NHL

I remember during 11-12 season, we had a GAS line (Gaborik - Stepan - Artie) line and in back-to-back games he put up 3 As each game, and I thought that was such a great accomplishment. Now Panarin puts up 3 A games in his sleep (but not in May, that's for sure)...

Also wasn't there a "kid" line from the Wolfpack? Dubinsky - Artie - Callahan? DId they ever play together for the big club at one point?

Dubi-Arty-Cally was def a line to be proud of when it was on.

For a team that had such a bad reputation of developing young forwards it was nice to hit on some good role guys there.

If he were just a touch quicker in several areas he could have been a star.

Even his shot which was a f***ing laser came off of a relatively slow release.

Still a very nice career for Arty. Best cellys in the game even beyond the shot gun one that pissed off the bolts.
