The Sens appear to be the "upset" pick for everyone. I don't know if I would call it that at this point. The Leafs have the reputation, and rightfully so, of being underachievers in the playoffs. I'm sure even some of their fans are expecting the Sens to win.

It's already been pointed out, but it comes down to Ullmark. He was in net when the Bruins squandered that 3-1 lead to Florida.

Yeah, I’m picking the Leafs…most of these series do come down to goaltending anyway lol

I think your cup winner is in the Florida vs Tampa series. Tampa beefed way up and have seemingly no weaknesses through their lineup. Florida is a playoff team though. Every single guy plays a playoff brand of hockey. I think Tkachuk being hurt really hurts and it's uber tough to threepeat. So I went Tampa.

Tampa over Florida in 7
TOR over OTT in 6
WAS over MTL in 5
CAR over NJD in 5

I love the additions Colorado made at the TDL. They have Nuke and Landy back. They are built for the playoffs and teams will have little answer for Mac and Makar. If they have a downfall, it's goaltending.

COL over DAL in 6
VGK over MIN in 5
WPG over STL in 5
LA over EDM in 7 - I think this will be close. Can McDrai overcome missing Ekholm and a meh Skinner? LA is rolling...

Then:
TBL over TOR 5
WAS over CAR 5
COL over WPG 7
VGK over LA 6

Then
TBL over WAS 6
COL over VGK 6

Then:
TBL over COL in 7

This year was incredibly difficult to pick. It would not shock me one bit to see the results be a literal 180 from what I picked. This years playoffs are gonna be lit.

Leafs have a better roster overall but I don’t like the way they play anymore.

Going with

Tampa over Florida in 6 (Cheering for Florida)
Montreal over Washington in 7 (Cheering for MTL)
Carolina over NJ in 5 (Don't really care who wins, would be good for Carolina I guess)
Toronto over Ottawa in 5 (Would like to see the Leafs win, but not fussed if they don't)

as a Canadian I would love to see a true non Covid with actual fans in the arena series between the Leafs and the Habs, it's been since 78 I think since they've met... maybe '79. Would be insane. But that could only happen in the conference finals and I'm not sure either can get that far having to face either Tampa or Florida.

Colorado over Dallas in 7 (Cheering Col)
Vegas over Minnesota in 5 (Cheering Minny)
Winnipeg over St Louis in 4 (Cheering The Peg)
Edmonton over LA in 7, (this one is as much as a tossup as any series could be and cheering for EDM)

Is Florida getting Tkachuk back? If so I pick Florida in 7 over Tampa instead

It’s alarming how fast the game is. I watched 70+ games this year and I don’t remember us being anywhere close to this fast ever.

Every single year we as Pens fans are like "this team is a couple adjustments away from playoff hockey" and every year when the playoffs roll around it's like "oh this team can't play anything close to this speed or intensity".

Also, apparently with Lavvy being fired, the Rangers are gonna talk to the Pens again to try and pry Sullivan out of Pittsburgh. Man, imagine the unfettered joy watching a Sullivan-led Rangers team crater and hand the Pens a lotto pick that becomes McKenna would be. Jesus.
