Friedman today floats the Eddie O/Gorton combo in Chicago.
Olczyk was a nice player and the networks seem to like him as a broadcaster, but I do not see how he has ever exhibited the type of qualities you'd want in someone running an organization. Has he ever had a front office position?

I know Chicago made a lot of moves trying to get back into the playoffs with Kane & Toews, but they've lost everyone else from their heyday and honestly should commit to a rebuild. Darren Dreger mentioned Rutherford. I recall hearing about him ready to get back to work for an NHL team.

Eddie O would be the happy "you know and love this guy" face to the public and corporate partners as they try to rebuild their shattered rep.

Gorton would run the team.

Jim Rutherford is 72. Is he looking to be a GM again? President I could see but again, the Wertz family may want someone with equity in the market to be the face of things.

Honestly no sympathy for Lucic after he drove Nash's head into the boards back in January 2013 and then his "I'll $^#%% kill you" handshake incident. Sore loser.

I get the guy has some issues (parent committed suicide I believe) and that's terrible, but he had his time as the 800 lb gorilla in the league and was a cheap player for years. Now he's just slow and worthless. I will not shed a tear when he's out of the NHL. Not one.
I want to create a burner HF account with the username Ryan Miller just to like this post.

They're honoring Jimmy Hayes who spent 2 years each with FLA and BOS tonight. Great work boys. Great work. What a way to honor the man and his family with Quenville present.

Absolutely disgusting. Heads need to roll over this. Players, coaches and personnel. I’m ashamed I’m a hockey fan right now considering Q is is behind the bench tonight.
One of the worst part is reading some Panthers fans' mental gymnastics trying to justify why maybe it's not so bad, why Beach is exaggerating, why Quenneville maybe doesn't shoulder any blame, etc.

John Doe is former Ranger Kyle Beach (HFD 2013-14) :O
Yeah I kinda pieced it together last night that it was him, didn’t realize he played for Hartford until I looked him up

Glad he’s brining all this to the light though

When the story first came out I went looking through the roster list and sorta figured it out. I’m honestly not opposed of old school a dragging these assholes through the streets. Call me a archaic Neanderthal but f*** them. Predators have no right to live with us. They bring nothing of value and lots of pain.
