I’m finally getting around to watching this TML All or Nothing. A couple of things stand out:

1. Tavares is such an uncharismatic person. Really good player obviously, but definitely not an inspirational leader type at all.

2. Matthews and Campbell really like each other. Like, a lot.

If a hockey player is a charismatic person I'm shocked. Especially one from NA.

Dude needs to get his face caved in already.

Honestly no sympathy for Lucic after he drove Nash's head into the boards back in January 2013 and then his "I'll $^#%% kill you" handshake incident. Sore loser.

I get the guy has some issues (parent committed suicide I believe) and that's terrible, but he had his time as the 800 lb gorilla in the league and was a cheap player for years. Now he's just slow and worthless. I will not shed a tear when he's out of the NHL. Not one.

Gourde with a terrific second period as Seattle running circles around Montreal.

I think I mentioned this last week but I'm still utterly shocked Tampa let him go.

What Messier said to Kevin Lowe in 1995 round 2 vs. Philly "We don't have the stallions for this race" will apply to Tampa without Gourde this postseason.

Obviously, my last post was sarcastic....no really it was.

Seriously, there needs to be a lot of house cleaning. There seems to be a reluctance on the part of people to get rid of enablers, especially if that enabler is successful in and of themselves. Penn State, USOC, some of the womens gymnastics people, Bowman/Quennville they ran highly successful programs or were successful themselves. If you know about a person abusing another, hell abusing many others, if you do nothing then I am sorry you do not belong in a position to lead.
Well said. And I think it’s clear that this is not the end of anything. It’s an issue that goes way beyond the 2010 Blackhawks.
Any hope that the NHL shows some leadership now?

(Rhetorical question, of course).

Zegras with a two point night in a losing effort.

Really impressive assist on a Sonny Milano goal. Hounded the puck on the forecheck, lifted Schmidt’s stick for a takeaway, and fed Milano for a nice one timer.

Goal was a wide open top cheese snipe from the slot.

My favorite player in the league.

He had done jack shit leading into this game.

Almost as if people shouldn't freak out over slow starts.

Something that's been bothering me: the people who have been loudly saying that everyone in the organization knew, did they say anything to Notre Dame, Miami or Houghton? If not, I'd strongly prefer they get the f*** off their horse.

Just saw that PK slewfoot fine. Seems awful familiar to the move he pulled on Reaves.

I gave him in the benefit of the doubt on that one. However, now it seems I was wrong. Dirty plays.

Dude needs to atone for this shit out on the ice, in addition to the fine.

My beer league team blew a 2-0 3rd period lead and gave up the winning goal with 1 second left last night.

Thats the worst. The other team gets SOOO happy too. Flips out

And there's always a couple guys on the team laughing about in the locker room afterwards, but everyone is really just dying a little inside.

At least the other team had a goalie. One season we had a full 3 line squad and lost to a short bench of 8 players with no goalie. It was a goddamn embarrassment, lol And we are good friggin team too, which made it even more puzzling.
