The Canadians are the worst Stanley Cup finalists since (fill in the blank)?

I have to say since the 2003 Anaheim Ducks.

Edit: Maybe the 2002 Canes, at least those Ducks took it to 7 games.

So satisfying finally seeing this violently mediocre Montreal team not only losing but getting bodied

Rebuild. The trade tree ain't done. Wait and see. Lundkvist alone might make it worthwhile.

See what we can get for Hajek and Howden. Higher picks in order.
Thanks. I really couldn’t remember why we dealt him. Must be getting old lol.

I love how our first and second overall picks weren’t trusted late in regular season games so that a non playoff team could try to eke out a few extra wins and here we’re seeing Cole Caufield thrust into the school of hard knocks during the SCF.

Ducks still had Kariya, Rucchin, Oates and I think Ozo. That’s some elite talent. The Habs have … three has beens in Perry, Staal and Weber.

Edit: thought Sykora and Fedorov were on that roster, but I think they joined the following season. Whoops.

and he should have been on the 4 on 3 early in game 2. One of the series turning points.
Suzuki was given the same opportunities last season in the bubble and you could see it was very valuable now hes on his way already to be a guaranteed terrific centerman (floor of 2nd C and probably a good 1C)
