Maybe but how much better? If you can easily sign a guy for ~2M to play on the bottom pair, he's not good value at 4.5

Also his offense has totally gone down the drain. Dude sucks, not worth the risk with his contract.

Man, almost have to wonder if it's personal issues (whether family, substance abuse or something else) that have crippled him. Just can't fathom how a player that young can go from hero to zero that quickly

very very legit comparison. I’d give him the same deal slightly more if he goes 6 or 7 years but 5 years for a goalie is the smart thing to do
