Cheering for the Devils tonight harder than I've ever cheered for them.

Unlike the Sabres, they have a good shot to win.
Gonna pretend its a Rangers game. Must see. Never thought I would say it but......Lets Go Debbies!

I'm telling ya', we have a great chance of making PO's.

Boston plays 4 b2b's in April and a total of 17 games in 31 days!
They're OLD and will get their asses handed to them in unsuspecting games they normally would win.

Philly just simply sucks.

It's up to the Rangers, and how well they wanna play, and more importantly win.
I feel confident we will sweep Philly and take 1 of 2 vs Caps before the month is out. A good month.

how many goalies don't depend on the defense to be respectable in front of them? such a ridiculous statement. no goalie will have success if his team doesn't help him
Even if you dont have a great defensive team (ability in blocking shots, boxing out) a really good goalie can still weather the storm and be successful as long as he TRUSTS his team will cover who they need to cover and get out of the zone in a timely manner. Might be leaving something out, but thats the jist of it.

I remember when Hank was struggling, it was due to him trying to do things he shouldnt have been doing. Anticipating TOO MUCH, is a bad thing. The defenseman need to do their jobs, regularly. They don't? Most goalies are toast.

Depends how you define “success”.

Most notable of 2019-20 were Hellebuyck, Lehner, Markstrom, Crawford. This year Demko, Hellebuyck again sort of, Mike Smith somehow.

Gonna share this. Sorry Sabre fan. I mean fans. You Sabre fans DON'T deserve this. Hoping Dan Girardi will be the start of revitalizing a team and their fan base into a respectable team.
Apparently x many, top 10 picks arent enough. Eichel and company......listen to the man! (Girardi, yes, his work is cut out for him) HERE:

The Pittsburgh Penguins hold the record for the longest losing streak in NHL history at 18 games, which was set in the 2003–04 season; that team finished last in the NHL with a 23–47–8–4 record (58 points).

Edit; don't worry about breaking the record......you play Philly, potential losses of tieing the record on March 18th, and breaking the record for your 19th on the 20th of March vs Philly (their sorry asses) as well. Again, not to worry. #stayfaithfulSabrefansmyheartgoesouttoyouall.

Is AV going to survive till next season? I mean his teams have always relied on elite level goaltending, but they can't play any defense at all at this point.

Debbies skating circles around Philly... If this lead holds it could make Thursday very interesting!

Aka, that familiar reality check loss as soon as I start to have hope
Not to worry, NJ has so much more heart than Philly being led by........ummmm, well, u know.

Lmao, at Jack Hughes. Dude has also been a huge dud the last 17 games only scoring 5 points after his big "breakout" start of the season. And that's with playing around 19 minutes a night...

he had the game of his life against us (of course) in that first meeting and everyone declared he was a superstar. He's improved a bit since last year but still has a way to go.

Yup, even Brooks made this big stupid article about Hughes after the game he had against the Ranger's like he was god all of sudden. It was 1 game, one in which he had about 15 minute of dominating us, then everyone was ready to declare him the big winner and we ended up with the bust. Watching both play the last few weeks, Kakko has looked MUCH better each shift.

I have a bet with a Devils fan buddy. Kakko vs Hughes ES P/60. It’s ridiculous that I am still alive with this bet given how little Kakko has scored. Currently at 1.49 vs 1.12, but if Kakko gets two more points in like 14 minutes tomorrow night he jumps up to 1.42.

Kakko’s rate is still very sensitive to each game given how little ice time he gets.
