Rangers are struggling no doubt, have some key players out, and others just struggling a lot like Mika. But what’s going on in Buffalo is a real shit show. How many more 1st or 2nd OA picks do they need to be competitive? Eichel is likely going to request a trade. Wouldn’t blame him. Lol.

I know this year is probably not an easy year to make a trade (eventhough we saw Laine for Dubois) But Eichel is never gonna make the playoffs in Buffalo. All things being equal they probably should make the move as they probably can get a nice haul for him before things get even worse if that's possible???

I remember when Ralph Kreuger was supposed to be this galaxy brain euro coach that was going to banish the rot in Buffalo and turn everything around
I never understood the hype with this guy. The way he's mismanaged Skinner in particular is just sad. Sabres head coaches get 2 seasons at most so he's probably gone sooner rather than later.

Eichel has multiple nagging injuries, is 10M of cap space, and the Sabres are going to push hard for Kakko++.

No thank you.

the competition for Eichel will be off the charts and I'm going to absolutely hate this entire deadline and off season constantly in fear of Gorton trading away one of Fox Miller Kaapo Laffy Chytil and one of Kraft, Lundkvist.

If Rangers trade any of those first 4 Gorton needs to be fired

I think you’ll see Fox, Kakko and Laf off the table for Eichel. Miller is probably on the edge, his play this year has made things more murky.

If you’re using the Nash trade as a template, you’re looking at something like Chytil, Buchnevich, Lundkvist and the 2021 1st (which is almost certainly going to be a top 10 pick, could be top 5)

Three under 26 NHL players and a lottery pick isn’t the worst package Buffalo could come away with.

Edit: you can throw Georgiev in there too, Buffalo needs a goalie lol

Stutzle another point on a nice rush backing the d off and making pass to anisimov for the goal.

He really has all year. Was hoping this would be one of the teams we would pass up by seasons end.
When push comes to shove.....February produced a 2-2 record vs teams we should be better than at seasons end. NJ, Pitt and yes, Philly. A not too shabby 3-4 vs the elite in Boston, Washington and yes....the NYI.

It was a tough month, losing Tony, Chytil, Trouba, k'André on and off and then our rock in Panarin.
We've weathered the storm and regardless we lost that last game to Boston, if we suck up that loss, the schedule seems a bit easier.
6 of 16 are vs Boston (2) and Caps (4) and the rest vs Buff, Pitt, NJ. (2) and Philly (4).
If we wanna be serious contenders for a PO spot, this is the month to make hay.
Win 3 of the 6 vs elite, and win at least 7 of the 10 vs the rest. Simple. Anything better than that, then watch out NHL, because that would mean we have everybody back and "starting to roll" and with Shesty & Georgie boy, doing their thing, would lead into the month if April with much higher aspirations. LGR's!

Duchene got Colorado Girard and Bryam
Nice players as well for sure but I take Norris/Stutzle plus the Sharks would have to pay even more for someone to take EK with that horrendous contract haha. Also I believe Duchene did get the Sens a first rounder and two prospects.

Every single one of Stutzle’s assists have been lucky and the result of his teammates doing all the work. He’s scoring phantom points left and right. A phantom player. :sarcasm:

If this was a normal season, something would have already happened in Calgary.
