Everything about that 2nd McDavid goal is LOL.

Kicking the puck up to his skate and picking up speed while hes doing it to slowing down, basically hypnotizing the D and G and then the no look shot getting placed exactly where he wanted to put it.

The North Division sucks, but he's maybe the most gifted player I've ever seen in terms of pure physical tools if not 2nd behind Lindros.

yeah, it does seem like the goalies and D get almost star struck or fearful when he’s flying down the ice. And those no look shots are legit. Hell of a player.

Dominic Moore looking pretty good on the NBC intermission report. Moore, Olczyk, Carter and Callahan all former Rangers working for NBC Sports. I know he had his health scare otherwise he'd be playing this year but I always thought Lundqvist would be good as an analyst when he finally retires.

Rupp too although i think he might be NHL network. He's even started doing color on games lately.

There was no reason for the Rangers to play like they did against the Devils last game. The Devils are not that good. Anyway, thanks Caps.

I looked at Oshie's career stats and I'm surprised they're not better. I would have thought he'd hit 70 points at some point but he seems to get injured a lot.

makes you really appreciate how hard it is to score even a point per game, you think of a player who regularly scores 30 goals and 30 assists and thats a really good player.

Doing a little stat surfing in my spare time today. Thought this was interesting. Difference in Goal Differential between best and worst team by division:

North (Toronto-Ottawa): 55
Central (Carolina-Detroit): 44
East (Boston-Buffalo): 19
West (Colorado-Anaheim): 31

I hate our division.

Yeah I've seen Rupp doing games and Kevin Weekes works for NHL Network. I saw Strudwick earlier this season as a studio analyst, can't remember which team it was for maybe Vancouver or Edmonton. And he wasn't a Ranger for long but Guy Hebert does Ducks games.

Who's the little guy on NHL Network? He's not very good at his job. I normally don't judge people for verbal ticks like "ahhh" but when you're a hockey analyst, especially not a former player, being smooth when speaking is literally your one job.
