Calgary losing again....

give us Bennett already

McDavid with a casual 3point 1st period.

McDavid with the hat trick and 5 points before the end of the second period. Has 37 points in 20 games with 25 minutes still to play in the 20th.

It’s actually now 42 points. Those were his numbers prior to the game. So this guy would be pushing over 160 points on a full season.

edit: you’re right, I added up wrong lol. My bad. Either way that’s just unreal in this era.

This is McDavid's world and we just live in it.
He’s the best player I’ve ever seen. He scores highlight reel goals like Mario used to, but he does it at this ridiculous top speed against competent, modern defenders and goalies. It doesn’t even compute how good he is. Like, I just don’t understand how he does half that shit.

And the Oilers still suck. Also does not compute.

That second McJesus goal had me frozen for one minute. Just outta this world.

His puck handling is other worldly. He's nearly always at full speed, never looks down and is always in control. No one goes 5-hole like McDavid. McJesus is the perfect nickname for him

There's something about hockey that's different than other sports. Greatness is always fun to watch, dont get me wrong, but it's just so innately beautiful in Hockey. McDavid is pure joy to watch.

In 20 years, I could compile all of McDavids highlights... put it on a TV. Frame that TV and call it 'artwork' It'd be an 6 hour long video on repeat.. I'd stop and stare in a museum

and he's getting better... He hasn't even reached his final form. I can't wait to watch 27 years old McDavid in 2024

I really don’t understand how. Does the Canadian division even have goalies? Might as well play 6 players. There’s no point of a goalie up there.

The thing about McDavid that’s so scary is he doesn’t look like he’s trying. Like Ovechkin and Crosby can make your jaw drop but they look like they are working hard. His stats may be inflated playing in the joke division but he’s still the best player in the world and probably the most naturally talented player ever born

Everything about that 2nd McDavid goal is LOL.

Kicking the puck up to his skate and picking up speed while hes doing it to slowing down, basically hypnotizing the D and G and then the no look shot getting placed exactly where he wanted to put it.

The North Division sucks, but he's maybe the most gifted player I've ever seen in terms of pure physical tools if not 2nd behind Lindros.

You say it as if we had a choice. The Rangers would have taken him if they could have.

No, I say it as he's in our divison for a long time without anything about the Rangers taking him or not.

He put on muscle and isn't getting tossed around as much this year.

He's gonna be a bigger pain in the ass than Barzal is.
