Leafs are way overrated . Must be because they are in the center of the universe according to the fans . Add the Bruins and Flightless Birds to that list of has been teams .

I am far from a Leafs fan, but the drought has to end at some point as we realized a quarter century ago. Their roster is good enough to get to the final four and from there... Goaltending will be the key.

People say this phrase “it has to end for X team at some point” all the time and the reality is no it doesn’t. When you’re roster deficiencies stay static then nothing is going to change. They’re a team not built to win.

all they have to do is be the best of Canada (not a very difficult task) and they'll be in the conference finals. If you're in the final 4, you have a pretty good shot.

the post was odds for the cup, not best teams. With this format, its the leafs division to lose

So lovely to see four teams in our division listed in the top 12.

Though I do think the race is going to come down to the wire and there's not going to be a ton of points separating the playoff bound teams from those heading for the lottery.

I agree with the top 3 but Boston and Toronto are too high. Bruins lost Krug and Chara and never seem to be able to find a reliable RW scorer to play with Krejci.

This new division format guarantees a Canadian team makes the final four so this year might be as good a year as any for a Canadian team to make a run.

I like the Kase acquisition last year and I have been a Coyle fan for years. I think their forward group will be fine, it's their defense that will need to prove something this year. They really need guys like Debrusk and Carlo to take a step forward.

he is a bust. not a fan of that pick at all. he will be an NHL tweener in his prime. awful pick, glad the Rangers didn't make it.:sarcasm:

You really love to throw the bust label on players lol.

I'll be very surprised if his ability is what causes him to bust. I don't think his body is going to hold up long term though because he gets smoked way too often and still looks like his body is made out of eggshells even with his epic offseason of training.

I don’t know if Jack Hughes will be a bust, but I doubt he’ll be much more than say RNH.

I won’t be surprised if it’s Dach, Seider, Byram, Zegras, etc. that end up being the best from that draft class.

I think Dach will be the best forward in my opinion. huge fan of his. i got the 1-3-2 line in NHL 21 with Lafy, Dach and Kakko and they have chemistry, they lead the way right now in 5 games.
