Just way more cohesion than you'd expect from such a young teamGreat team game from the Sens. Young and inexperienced by well coached.

Young and inexperienced teams are allowed to score 4+ goals for multiple games...in a row? And look like they're well coached while doing so?Great team game from the Sens. Young and inexperienced by well coached.
the answer is obvious. He's a bust.I'm a little concerned that Ottawa might be ruining Tim Stutzle. It's only one game but he just played 11:50. The only forwards who played less were Cedric Paquette and Artem Anisimov. They didn't even use him on the first powerplay unit. Why are they playing guys like Nick Paul, Chris Tierner, and Connor Brown more than him?
And let’s not forget which HF poster got roasted two years ago when he suggested the Rangers take a look at Smith as a coach. (I’m salty tonight)their coach Smith has impressed me last year
Nieves was projected in some places as a first rounder.

Bro wtf 8-0?
I think we're going to see a lot of unusual results the first month of the season due to the lack of any kind of real preparation by teams this year (i.e. no preseason)
COL smoked STL on the PP. I wholeheartedly believe that they are taking a page out of basketball. They are running high screen and rolls, and getting better shots for their shooters, and getting better net-front positioning like how the better rebounders get in the NBA. They found a new competitive advantage.
It's an evolution of the 1-3-1 with cumulative routes that create easier looks. Very very impressive work by the Avalanche.
I always believed NHL teams should play like modern basketball teams in the offensive zone with motion offenses with screens, cuts, and movement to make harder on defenses. TB plays similar to that as well from videos I saw of them in the playoffs. I hope Rangers can play like that someday as well.
