He’s such a fun player to watch.

And it pains me that he’s a Flyer.

Kaprizov with the OT winner. He looks like a legit star already. He reminds me of Panarin, to be honest. A lefty version.

That team has been so blah for so much of their history other than Gaborik so them getting a star is overdue.

Even the Rangers who in most of our lifetime have been the "we have a bunch of B+ players but not A+ players on their roster" have had more starpower than the Wild. There were points the middle of last decade I just felt bad for them being saddles by B+ players making A+ money.

And he was playing at that level in the KHL. He was showing Panarin-level dominance at the same age. I've had the fortune to watch him play in Vienna when they had a World Games event here, and when you get a chance to zone in on him you see how smart he really is.

But also, his coach puts him in a position to succeed and didn't bury him on the 3rd line. That certainly helps

Well, yea, his teams RW Depth is Fiala, M. Foligno, Hartman. At LW they have Parise and a bunch of nonsense. At C they have nobody good. Of course he's immediately on the top PP and in a top six role. If he was here he would not be above Kreider/Zibanejad/Buchnevich/Panarin in the lineup either. He would at best be 2nd line RW and PP2.

The same thing will happen with Stutzle today for the same reason.
