That’s not a bad point, but I don’t think TML could help themselves on Tavares. So the next realistic decision was to move Nylander or Marner.
Say what you will about the Rangers drafting, but they didn’t neglect defense. I’m all for BPA, but you do need a balance.
Watching guys tonight like Suzuki and Thomas it’s time for Chytil to really make an imprint on this team.

Figured that game was horrible. You think this is better than the montreal leafs game? I’ll tell you some of these west coast games could be fun. I’m even lookin forward to sens leafs Friday night. Lots of goals in this crappy defensive division

Of course they have their best shift in the O zone right after I say that.
I was told it was a great division only 2nd to the east by Sportsnet.
Even then they were highly apologetic that they didn't choose their precious Canadian division.

McDavid looks like his conditioning is off, or he otherwise just isn’t engaged. Possibly the least dynamic I’ve ever watched him.
People used to say Draisaitl isn’t a play driver like McDavid but he looks like far more of a play driver tonight. Neutralize the rush, at least in this game, and McDavid is ghost. Draisaitl uses his big body on the cycle and also is always moving his legs. Obviously don’t expect McD to struggle this year, but criticism against Drai not being as good as his numbers say are out to lunch, IMO.
