Our Around The NHL thread usually has more posts about a game than some other teams entire GDT does.

Some of the GDTs on the Vegas board barely make it to 3 pages...even during playoff games.

Their 2 needs an upgrade but he just got a 2 year contract. I wouldn't go into playoffs with that tandem next year if i was them

I think that's easy to explain: HFBoards is an "old internet" thing (I really wish they didn't nuke the archives or whatever happened, what a great resource for what hockey fans were talking about in the 2000s) and the VGK fanbase including a lot of new hockey fans just went to Reddit or somewhere like that to talk about the team

Many of these boards on a site like Elite Prospects or something along those lines, would probably see a susbstantial increase in activity.

But Vegas didn't even play until just before, or just after the site itself shutdown.

Yeah, truth be told, if my hazy memory is correct, it was yours and Draft Guru's articles on th '99 draft and Brendl/Landmark that brought me to the original boards.

The great irony is that for all any of us know, the guy they'd take at 21, is the guy they'd take 22, 23 or 24.

He very well could be a guy this board has ranked 32nd, and the Rangers are fairly confident he'll be there no matter where they pick.

I'm sure that's a huge part of it, but you'd think after 3 years & the success the team's had, they'd get a little more traffic.

I think the Avs need to beef up their D for next season. Felt like that was a weak spot for them. Painful seeing Graves do so well, regret that trade certainly, but he seemed to be functioning as their #2 dman for several very important playoff games which I don't think is ideal for them.

Vancouver moves the Carolina pick up AND one of the Devils 1st rounders down.

Let them get as big as they want.
