I'm sure Nico Hischier and Nolan Patrick will have fine careers. But thank god the Devils and Flyers passed on Miro Heiskanen, Cale Makar, and Elias Pettersson.

right now Nolan Patrick just hopes to have a career...he hasn't played in over a year.

I mean hutch has literally no clue where the puck is. He’s really fighting it. Colorado going to need 4 or 5 to win (I say this about hank starts a lot it’s that kind of game)

well there’s number 2

Further proof that a talented team and a good enough goalie can make some noise in the NHL playoffs.

We always get the goalie part down.

The "talented team" thing, though. -_-

Well, I can't help but feel like we're entering an era where:

Yeah Dallas is done. Isles and Vegas have been playing well but getting unlucky. Dallas has been shitting their pants since game 5.

Oh, I joked about that the minute they flamed out last year.

Them finally winning it this year would be the most Tampa thing ever.
I’m tempted to actually bet real-life money on them winning the Cup, but I’m almost positive I’d develop a gambling addiction.

If Vegas can figure out a way to beat Demko tonight, they're going to make it to the Cup Final again. Hutchinson is not going to get you through a 7 game series against that team.

Now, if Francouz comes back or Grubauer is healthy and able to go, that changes everything, but I'd bet that Vegas would still win.

I don't see either the Islanders or Flyers beating the Lightning at this moment. The Islanders are probably more likely to get it done with their system over the Flyers being overly reliant on Carter Hart to win them games (Hey, AV found his next goalie to lean on and carry him to where he wants to go).

when you look at Panarin Zibanejad Lafreniere Kakko Fox Trouba Kreider DeAngelo Miller Lundkvist Chytil and realize it’s all going to be anchored by Shesterkin and you have to be excited about this window

Lundqvist never had even remotely close to that level of talent in front of him

I can honestly say that the only other era in Rangers history where I can remember having this much talent in the system was around 1991/92.

I'm not even sure that fans fully realize just how high the talent level and potential is right now.
