Demko going all god like....90 of 91 saves as I shake my head in disbelief.

Vegas is in trouble which I never ever thought I'd say in these playoffs.

Tell ya what even with the covid situation, once again, it's proof positive that the NHL playoffs is by far the most compelling and best post season of any sport and it's not even close!

Unreal how good these playoffs have been. Very happily surprised as I am enjoying this enormously!!

Vegas suffering from missing Oscar Lindberg in their lineup right now. Imagine if they had picked Quickie. That team could have been put over the edge chasing their 3rd cup right now.

Canucks, Flyers, and Colorado fans are experiencing what we did in 2014 and 2015. It's crazy because almost nobody makes the comeback and I'd think all these teams can do it.

Canucks couldn't have played two worse games and win. Only way to go is up. Flyers are playing down to their talent level, and Colorado has MacKinnon to take over a game and win one for them.

Yes, NHL has done a great job with the playoff format. I never thought it was going to be this good.

Major props. Lots of silence from of the posters on the main board who said this was a horrible idea and would never ever get off the ground. I Know the higher ups get a lot of shit but they have done as good as job as you could do under duress. Props also to Steve Mayer.

Players are well rested with no travel. Wish that could be the case every playoffs, but there's no way that would ever happen barring the same set of circumstances
Yeah definitely helps with no travel and players resting as much as possible but having fans/Atmosphere are so awesome during the playoffs but the NHL has made these games as exciting as possible.

Yeah, I think the level of play has been amazing, but it still does feel a bit still without crowds

They had their choice of Oscar Lindberg, Quickie, Michael Grabner or Antti Raanta. They went Lindberg. Ya hate to see it.

Think about this....WCF could be Thatcher Demko vs Michael Hutchinson....who knew? lol

Goalies are voodoo, and while i am glad to have had Hank and now Igor, i can't help but feel a big-dollar goalie is just a waste of cap space.

I will say that I have very little doubt there will be some very intriguing names on the board when the Rangers pick --- be it at 21 or 24. I firmly believe beyond about 14 guys in this draft, the difference between 15 and 30, maybe even 45, is pretty subjective.

For me, I'd just prefer to clear a few more obstacles out of the way so the Rangers can get their guy. In actuality, it might not even be necessary. They might be able to get their guy no matter what.

Additionally, in the off-chance that someone in my top 14 slips, I'd like to be that much closer so that we maybe have a chance to grab them. That too could be all for naught because there's no guarantee the Rangers view someone the same way I do, or that they'd even be able to make move.

But you more or less get what I'm saying.

yup, we’re saying/thinking the same.

sounds like a bad year to not have a pick in the 2nd round.

i kinda thought the Rangers gifted that 2nd to Carolina for Fox b/c he had them over a barrel. Realistically though, that trade was a laughable heist. A 2nd Rounder for a kid ready to go and then some. This rebuild has had quite a bit luck and fortune despite the Lias drama.

So the ideal scenario of 21OA is still alive. Need victories from the Stars, Canucks and Isles, although, if we get the first two, I'd be willing to sacrifice the last one.
