Caps look dead. They just look done. No jump. They had some moments in the 1st especially towards the end, but thats about it. They are having serious issues stringing passes together. They may have a lot of shot *attempts but they are all from low % areas. Holtby continues to fight the puck as he has all season.

Game is over unless something drastically changes or Ovechkin goes into God mode.

Beyond abysmal. Shocking he did so well with Montreal. And how about Vrana? No points in what 7-8 games? Kid is so talented. Its just obvious not everyone kept sharp during the layoff.

they beat everybody through 4 series so i think they earned it.

Honestly was a fluke.

You can't tell me that it's a coincidence that Vegas went up 1-0 in the finals, then had Imagine Dragons play in the G2 pre-game, and then they proceeded to go 0-4.

Ovechkin and Backstrom have a lot of city miles on them. They've been in the playoffs basically every year of their careers. The Pens stars are in the same boat.
