It’s really actually pretty impressive what Stepan accomplished in his career. He’s got to be the worst skater I’ve ever seen.

Hasn’t improved his skating a lick since he entered the league. He also looks like he’s playing at a much higher weight than when he entered the league, so he’s slower now than Day 1. Woof.
Yeah he's gotten low-key thick.

If MTL loses tonight, the CAR pick range should be 22-24.

Ideally, since ARI is out, we want a ECF of MTL/NYI and a WCF that has one of CGY/DAL/VAN. That would make the CAR pick 21.

I mean, I guess it again depends on if they count DAL as a "Division Winner" or not due to the RTP setup
Yeah, I seem to be the only one who thinks it might. But if it isn't, I think that will put them at 21-24 still.
21 if NYI, VAN, CGY/DAL advance to CF
22 if 2 advance
23 if 1 advance
24 if none

we have a better chance winning first pick overall again next year than that happening :D

And for those of you thinking trade (be it up or down), a good rule of thumb is 2-4 spots in movement.

So if you're picking 22, you'd most likely be looking at a trade up to 18, 19 or 20.

And you'd be most likely looking at a trade down to 24, 25 or 26.

At 24, your range is essentially 20-28.

Obviously there are exceptions, but I'd use that as a general guideline.

It’s more fun wishing for the above unlikely scenarios than proposing a package including approx the 11th pick overall, the 22nd, a goalie and Buch in hopes of landing a higher pick.

We’re already there!!!! :)

Kotkaniemi gets 5 and game misconduct for boarding. big point in the game. stupid penalty for the young forward

Isles/Philly could go either way that’s prob our best shot at moving up to 23. I gladly stay at 24 to watch them lose early as always. Rooting for the isles will never be ok in this household
