Looking at the islanders Cap Friendly would be our worst nightmare

big money and term still for Lee Ladd Eberle Pageau Clutterbuck Cizikas Nelson Bailey Komarov Boychuk Leddy Varlamov

I mean 3 year minimums. How did some of those guys get 5 6 year deals?!

they have to pay Barzal like 10
Mil this summer and throw in Michael Dal Colle at almost 23 years old is yet again another top 5 pick bust for them.

look at these Years Remaining for these names.

Pens getting waxed here. They just aren’t very good. Too many injuries. If season was a couple weeks longer we’d pass them

P.S. after getting a peak into your real life - “oh, baby” is very appropriate!
I wouldn't go that far. But thanks. When they found a tumor the size of a baseball inside my colon, I decided right then, I will be making all decisions on my health. And if you do this, you better study your ass off. And I have everyday for the last 7 years. It was mostly out of necessity. I don't like the idea of putting my life in anybody else's hands. Doc's are knowledgeable and necessary. But they are only tools for you to use in order to make informed decisions.

I posed same question and figured it has to be the Canes who we can tie up at 78 with a game in hand if they win in regulation and we win our game. Canes would remain a point behind tho we have 2 games in hand on them.

So yeah it’s Canes all day and we need to absolutely take care of our business cause you know Debs would luv nothing better than to knock us down a peg!!

It's actually easy. Always root against the Islanders. Plus it's fun to watch them fall out of a playoff spot.

I’d seriously consider checking on Eichel

now don’t @ME here just tell me if you’d do it. Don’t tell me that buffalo wouldn’t and I’m an idiot and don’t talk to me about the cap. Just tell me if you’d make this trade at the draft:

Buffalo gets:

Strome Lundkvist Kravtsov and the Carolina/Toronto 2020 first round pick

NYR get Eichel

I remember one time I rooted for the Piles to win because it would put us in the playoffs. I forgot the year but they actually came through and we made the playoffs. I had to take a shower afterwards though.

Give me a line up that includes necessary cap adjustments and I will tell you.

That's another reason to always root against them: you feel dirty for doing so. I think the only exception is if it's the last game or two of the season and your playoff spot depends on it.

I buy out Staal and Lundqvist this summer and resign Georgiev. That’s about 3 million in added space.

stromes money comes off the books. 3.1 mil

I let Jesper Fast walk 1.8 mil

cap goes up another 3 million.

I pay DeAngelo 5 mil per on a bridge deal. So 4 mil raise. Figure a wash on the Skjei money

that’s about 11mil when u factor in kreiders raise And you need 10 for eichel next season. We already have some cap space sitting there as is that we’ve carried all year.

the following year we get a ton of breathing room to sign rfas. Cap goes up again. It’s a 2 year window wirh Mika on the cheap. I think by that point regarding the cap we’re fine.
