Torts knows how to run a shutdown defensive scheme. He's a good bet to coach his way out of losing Jones.

Islanders leading the Capitals 5-1 with 9:24 left in the 2ed. Samsonov just pulled, Holtby back in

Pittsburgh paid a big price for Zucker. The price for CK is looking good. Granted Zucker has term. Still, it's one more available guy off the market.

I have Zucker on my $$ team. Him on Pittsburgh on either Malkin or Crosby's side is both huge for his fantasy value and really good for the Penguins team as a whole as they are in win now mode in the last few years of the Malkin/Crosby era before they need to consider rebuilding.

With is uber speed plus his wicked shot, count me in as someone who can easily see Zucker being a point per game guy the rest of the way.

Tho not terrible for the Wild at all as they do need to rebuild, for this year at least, to me it's a great deal for the Pens which is not surprising seeing they always pull off sweet deals before or at the deadline pretty much every year!

On the other hand Galchenyuk...what a waste of god given talent.

Jones out? Shesty boutta swoop in on that playoff spot

Luv the optimism and from your mouth to the hockey gods ears but I just don't see it happening as too many teams besides the Jackets would need to tank while the Rangers would need to go on a mega winning streak that they have shown absolutely no indication all year that they are capable of going on.

That said, would love to be wrong tho even if they don't make the playoffs, as I've said a bunch of times, so long as the Rangers can hang around the playoff periphery and play important games in the month of March, that would be invaluable experience for the kids for future years.

Chychrun with a BOMB to give the Coyotes a 3-2 lead with 1:00 left in the game.

I would do horrible, horrible things to slot Chychrun in next to Trouba for the next 6 years.

The conditions on the 1st are if the Pens don't make the playoffs this year they can push it to next year. The wheels are eventually going to fall off their bus. They've been bleeding prospects and draft picks for a while and Crosby, Malkin and Letang are getting older. It's a good deal IMO for Minnesota--Addison who was really good at the WJC's and the Pens 1st.

Feels like a big overpayment by the Pens. Galchenyuk is whatever, but Zucker is so meh.
