I was so into the MLB and WNBA playoffs that I forgot to post my pre-season predictions but I still stand by them. The Oilers and Stars will meet in the WCF and the winner will lose to the NYR in the 7th game of the SCF.

I'd consider Schneider for Jiricek and Miller for a young center prospect and a young LD who plays a steady game if they could get them.

Young center prospects are very hard to get. I suggested the Rangers should have traded for Kupari as C depth when he was still with LA. A young C prospect higher ranked than that takes a serious trade to shake lose - and those hardly happen anymore.

i'd take a look at Peyton Krebs if he became available.

Devils 3/5 on the PP against the Cats.
Have we even had 5 PP total in the last 5 games? Another reason why we suck, we draw no penalties
THIS!!! It's the easiest thing to point to in terms of beating the Rangers...Stay out of the box and force them to play 5v5.

Yes there are other weaknesses to exploit but this is a no-brainer which Florida also successfully used against us in the playoffs.

If Jiricek was any good, Jack Johnson and Erik Gudbrandson wouldn't play over him.

Schneider is better bet to be better, too.

Right. , a 26% power play might look good on the surface but it’s not very useful when you get to see it only once or twice a night
